Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel didn’t take too may jabs at President Donald Trump during the opening monologue on Sunday.
But when he did, they were pretty good.
“Maybe this is not a popular thing to say but I want to say thank you to President Trump. I mean remember last year when it seemed like the Oscars were racist?”
That was among the few jokes about the president the host made to kick off Hollywood’s biggest night.
He opened the monologue by saying while many advised him to “say something to unite” viewers, he “can’t do that.” Read more…
