Give Justin Bieber a Pulitzer for this, the most hard-hitting interview of the year so far.
During the regular Late Late Show truth-or-icky-dare segment “Spill Your Guts Or Fill Your Guts” Bieber (or at least the producer who handed him the card) hit host James Corden with a tough question: on a scale of one to 10, how much does he regret doing Cats?
As always, it’s hard to know whether this question is genuinely a surprise to Corden, but he thinks about it hard, briefly considers opting to eat some cod sperm instead, then answers, it seems, truthfully. The number he gives is diplomatic, but his grimacing, umm-ing and aah-ing tells the real story. Read more…

Justin Bieber joined Jimmy Fallon on Thursday’s episode of The Tonight Show to introduce him hockey: Canada’s most sacred tradition next to apologising profusely to the cashier at Tim Hortons.
Bieber showed off some impressive skills on the ice, demonstrating some quick drills and dragging a wobbly Fallon across the rink. The singer also demonstrated how to do a backhand shot, which the two practiced alongside backhanded compliments before their shootout.
“Have you lost weight?” Bieber asked. “You look a lot better than the last time I’d seen you.”
The result of their competition was very much a forgone conclusion, but it did give Bieber the opportunity to belt out “O Canada” as he took a victory lap on a Zamboni. Read more…

Justin Bieber is the kind of celebrity who is sure to get swarmed once he’s seen in public.
So in the latest edition of Jimmy Fallon’s photobombing segment, Bieber and the late show host went in disguise to surprise people in New York’s Central Park, ahead of The Tonight Show‘s special outdoor broadcast from the park later that evening.
Despite dancing along to Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” no-one in the segment manages to recognise the pop superstar, until right at the end when they pull their wigs off.
Also, like everyone these days, Bieber is really good at those Fortnite floss dances. As he should be. Read more…

Just weeks after becoming the most streamed song of all time, “Despacito” has now been crowned with another title.
With just over 3 billion views, the song has officially become the most viewed video in YouTube history.
The summer hit, from Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, was released just seven months ago.
The song, whose title means “slowly” in Spanish, took over Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s “See You Again”, which only made it its way to the number one spot last month, after overtaking Psy’s “Gangnam Style“, which formerly held the position for over four years. Read more…

Like many celebrities who’ve passed through Australia, Justin Bieber has been hounded by paparazzi.
Bieber tried to get away from it all by staying on the private Makepeace Island, located in Queensland. But it wasn’t far enough.
Luckily, the ennui-filled pop star knows how to make light of a crappy situation — just do impressions of well-loved Australian TV characters.
One cameraman captured the Canadian singer angrily reacting to him being filmed, yelling “F*ck off” and flipping the finger at cameras. “Welcome to the Sunshine Coast, hey?” the cameraman responded. “F*ck you,” Bieber shot back. Read more…

Remember that Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen guy? Justin Bieber does.
The duo are teaming up together for a new Japanese commercial, in what could be the most unlikely bromance of 2017.
The actual commercial, for Japanese telecommunications company SoftBank, has yet to air, but a behind-the-scenes video has just been released and is getting shared quickly in Japan.
Japanese singer Piko-Taro took the Internet by storm last year after his song PPAP, which has been viewed over 113 million times, went viral. Read more…
