Finally, a climate change ad specifically for Trump

TwitterFacebook

It’s no secret that Donald Trump is clueless about climate change.

Given the soaring summer heat in many parts of the globe, including the Arctic Circle, it’s about time the president pay attention. It’s a tricky task, but Jimmy Kimmel might have the solution by creating an ad that puts those issues into terms that Trump can understand.

Donald Trump suggests he may pardon Jack Johnson because — c’mon, you know why

TwitterFacebook

While past presidents were mourning former First Lady Barbara Bush at her funeral in Houston today, President Trump was on his phone in Mar-a-Lago, having his usual Twitter meltdown.

In between excoriating James Comey and tossing around conspiracy theories about Mr. Peepers, President Trump decided to suddenly announce he was considering a pardon for Jack Johnson, the history-making boxer.

Trump, as you might imagine, appears to have taken a particular interest in pardons as of late.

Some background on the controversy: Jack Johnson was the first black man to ever hold the title of world heavyweight champion. By 1912, he hadn’t lost a match in four years. Other white boxers refused to fight him. When one, Canadian Tommy Burns, did, Johnson destroyed him soundly.  Read more…

The former Chief Official White House Photographer during the Obama Administration, Souza has posted two images on Instagram in response to President Trump’s boast on Twitter that his “nuclear button” was bigger than the one apparently on North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s desk.

North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the “Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.” Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!

U.S. President Donald Trump speaks before signing an executive order surrounded by small business leaders in the Oval Office of the White House January 30, 2017 in Washington, DC. President Trump has taken control of Twitter, wrenching the wheel, leading the dialogue, and steering it into almost certain disaster. And he won’t let go.

For someone who supposedly doesn’t like Twitter very much Trump’s obsessed with it. So are plenty of other people, but they’re not the president of the United States. Most of their tweets don’t matter. At least, not like his.

Every single one of Trump’s tweets matters, which—while it may sadly be Peak Trump—is turning into a waking nightmare for the rest of us. And it could doom Twitter. Read more…
