Why we like them
The AirPods Max offer excellent audio quality and noise-cancelation, and are overall a great first crack at a non-Beats pair of over-ear headphones for Apple. Although former Mashable tech reporter Brenda Stolyar noted some issues with them (especially when it comes to comfort), they still got high marks in the end. Even on sale, they’re a pretty steep purchase, but we wouldn’t scoff at $100 off.

Why we like them
The Powerbeats Pro are a wonderful pair of earbuds for physical activities and regular use. They sound fantastic, have a super long battery life, and offer a snug fit that really shines when you shift gears into “sport mode.” The only downside is that the charging case is gigantic, but it’s pretty easy to overlook (especially when you’re paying $50 less than the usual price).

Why we like them
If you’re looking for immersion, the SteelSeries Arctis Pro are the way to go. They boast 360-degree surround sound, in-depth audio mixing features, a noise-canceling microphone, and a luxurious, comfortable design. They’re $32 off ahead of Prime Day.
