SOS Children Supporter Groups

As well as schools, companies and individuals, SOS Children is fortunate to have the support of specific supporter groups that raise funds solely for the charity's work.

If you have a large social circle, some free time and enjoy organising events? If so, then perhaps you might consider establishing an SOS Children Supporter Group in your area.

Our current supporter groups hold regular meetings, work with the office to focus on a specific project and then plan events to reach their funding target. Concerts, tennis tournaments, walks, strawberry teas and dinner parties have all proved successful fundraising activities. Furthermore they have provided a lot of enjoyment for all those involved, raised new awareness for the charity and recruited further supporters.

Examples of supporter groups

The Pakistan Supporters' Group is one of the most prominent groups supporting SOS Children, having raised over £50,000 in 2005 alone.
