This work was first published in Zimbabwe and is now in the public domain, because its copyright protection has expired in Zimbabwe by virtue of the Copyright and Neighbouring Rights Act 1966 (1981), II, 6 (3).
The work meets one of the following criteria:

a) it is a non-photographic work and 50 years have passed since the end of the calendar year in which the author died;
b) it is a photograph and 50 years have passed since the end of the calendar year in which it was first published.

Additionally, by virtue of the Act's Transitional Provisions, Part I, Sec. 2, all photographs that were taken before 1 January, 1967 enter the public domain 50 years after production regardless of their publication date.
