Die Orginalüberschrift lautet «Der uralten wyt bekannten Stadt Zürich gestalt und gelägenheit, wie sy zu dieser zyt im wäsen ufgerissen und in grunt gelegt durch Josen Murer und durch Christoffel Froschauer zu Eeren dem Vaterland getruckt, im 1576. Jar»
English: View of the city of Zürich on a xylography by Josua Murer, 1576. The original headline can be roughly translated into "The ancient widely known city Zürich's design and positioning, as its essense/character is projected and build at this time by Josen Murer, and printed by Christoffel Froschauer in 1576 in honour of the fatherland."
