That is all

Robot vacuum shoppers on a budget can score a self-emptying Shark for under $300

Save 40%: As of Oct. 21, the Shark EZ Robot Vacuum with Self-Empty Base (AV911S) has a $200 discount at Amazon, dropping it to just $299.99.

Unless there’s a very specific robot vacuum model for which you’re holding out for a sale, there’s no reason to wait until actual Black Friday to upgrade your cleaning. Case in point: Today’s juicy find is a self-emptying robot vacuum for under $300, and it’s not from some obscure brand that’s potentially unreliable. It’s from Shark.

The bagless Shark EZ AV911S vacuum comes with a self-empty base that keeps you off the hook from emptying dust for up to a month at a time. This model usually costs $499.99, but a 40% discount at Amazon brings it down to $299.99. That’s also $50 less than its Prime Day price in June.

This particular Shark isn’t equipped with smart mapping that can target specific rooms, but it does still have app compatibility to start or schedule cleanings (these can also be controlled through Alexa or Google Assistant commands).

Navigation-wise, the Shark EZ AV911S cleans in neat rows and is particularly great at handling dust and larger debris on hard floors. Many reviewers did mention that its suction was more than enough to relieve their carpets of shedding. (At any rate, Shark says its coverage is 50% better compared to older Shark models.) The Shark will then retreat to its base and dump everything it picked up directly into the canister to avoid the cloud of dust that typically comes from emptying into a trash can.
