  • (en) A monument to the victims of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster at Mitino cemetery outside Moscow, where some of the firefighters who battled the flames during the 26 April 1986 disaster and later died of radiation exposure are buried. Photo taken in 1995.

The monument was created in 1993 by sculptor Andrei Kovaltchuk and architect Mikhail Korsi. Concrete, bronze, granite. Hight -750cm.
