Español: Impresión de un artista de un sistema binario, formado por un agujero negro y una estrella del tipo de secuencia principal como compañera, que se mueve alrededor en una órbita que excede su límite de Roche. El agujero negro extrae materia de la estrella mediante un disco de acreción que gira alrededor de su propio eje. Parte de esta materia es expulsada en chorros polares de gas, altamente energéticos y colimados por el campo magnetico del agujero.
