Description |
The German MiG-29 prepares to take off with German Maj. Gassner and CINC-USAFE, Gen. Robert C. Oaks. Since the end of the Cold War, armed forces from the east and west are meeting to further understand and strengthen friendships. Such a visit occurred when a MiG-29 from the former East Germany landed and hosted a flight for Gen. Oaks. Gen. Oaks returned the favour by giving the German pilot a F-16 ride.
