Description

Logo of the United States Senate, used on the senate.gov website since January 2006 and also in some online publications prior to that.

The logo is a stylized version of the Eagle and Shield, a c.1834 sculpture by an unknown artist which adorns the dais in the Old Senate Chamber in the United States Congress. It has long been a symbol for the Senate.
