Description |
Neil Armstrong, former astronaut, commander of Apollo 11, and first man to walk on the moon, talks about his experiences for an enthusiastic audience at the Apollo/ Saturn V Centre, part of the John F. Kennedy Space Centre Visitor Complex. The occasion was a banquet celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Apollo 11 launch and moon landing, July 16 and July 20, 1969. Among other guests at the banquet were astronauts Wally Schirra, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin and Walt Cunningham. |
