         | Description |

Illustration showing regular participating countries in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994. The addition of the Eastern Bloc countries, and the separate ex-Yugoslavian states, makes a stark change from the participation map of 1992. Belgium, Denmark, Israel, Luxembourg, Slovenia and Turkey are included because, although they did not participate in the 1994 Contest (having been relegated in 1993), they were regular participants nevertheless. Italy has been removed as a regular participant, for although they participated again once in 1997, Italian television elected not to be a part of the Song Contest. |
