That is all

Netflix’s ‘Seoul Vibe’ trailer brings fast and furious driving energy to the ’80s

Four people stand with each other in a club.

It’s 1988 in Seoul, the Summer Olympics are fast approaching, and a team of incredible drivers are casually driving slush fund money across the city.

That’s the set-up of Seoul Vibe, director Moon Hyun-sung’s upcoming action thriller that’s bringing some Fast and the Furious energy to Netflix.

In the trailer, you’ll meet the drivers of the Sanggye-dong Supreme Team: top drifter Dong-wook (Yoo Ah-in), navigator Bok-nam (Lee Kyoo-hyung), master of disguise Yoon Hee (Park Ju-hyun), DJ and mixtape aficionado John (Ko Kyung-pyo), and team MacGyver Joon-gi (Ong Seong-wu). They’ve been put in a situation where they can’t really refuse an offer to drive slush fund money across Seoul to infiltrate a crime ring. Simple, right?

Expect many impressive driving stunts, a fun soundtrack, and plenty of late ’80s style.

Seoul Vibe is streaming on Netflix Aug. 26.
